Product Description : Magid Gemstone Myst Y10LIR polycarbonate protective eyewear is impact resistant, with a frameless pale green, anti-scratch unilens that has a 1.3 IR filter and 80% VLT for protection from indirect welding flashes, and provides 99.9% UV protection. The 1.3 infrared radiation (IR) filter helps to reduce IR exposure. The eyewear is for indoor use, with an 80% visual light transmittance (VLT) ratio. The frameless unilens extends range of peripheral vision, and wide temples help to provide protection against flying debris. The eyewear has a molded nosepiece for a comfortable, secure fit. This eyewear is often used to help protect from indirect welding flashes and low level infrared work for utilities, welding environments, and furnace operations.The Y10LIR eyewear meets the American National Standard Institute (ANSI) Z87.1-2010 high impact standard and Canadian Standards Association (CAN/CSA) Z94.3 standard. Polycarbonate resists grease, oil, detergent, and most inorganic acids, and has a very high impact resistance at nearly 30 times that of safety glass. The eyewear weighs 1 oz, and comes in an individually wrapped plastic bag.Protective eyewear, such as safety glasses or goggles, is worn to shield eyes from hazards, including flying particles, heat, chemicals, and harmful exposure to light.
